INTERIOR DESIGN
The La Croix model’s interiors were inspired by today’s ever increasing desire for modern living. Designer Regan Reed of CROIX INTERIORS has provided a one of a kind Life style design for this home developing individual character from room to room by choosing warm natural finishes such as polished stone, rich dark woods, unique porcelain and glass tiles, subtle paint color progressions and “intricately simple” wall finishes all combing to create a canvas perfectly suited to showcase LA CROIX’S fine collection of interior furnishings, dramatic lighting, custom window dressings, tailored bedding and dynamic art work. The homes furnishings were selected to feature their clean contemporary lines, warm wood tones, contrasting cool metals and luxurious textured fabrics. The color pallet is layered with warm and cool whites, matt silver finishes, muted gold tones and shimmering chrome accents, these metallic hues as well as the bold base colors of iron grey, bright white, stormy blue, champagne and midnight blue culminate to create an ideal environment to hang the many canvases and framed pieces of abstract art featured on the walls of LA CROIX.
As you walk through the impressive mahogany front doors, there is an immediate sense of sophistication, you quickly notice the main floor design which travels thought out the primary residence. Regan chose a contemporary 24x24 porcelain tile with a subtle linear wood grain design on it and elected to install this modern tile in the old established French style known as “Parquetry”. Parquet floors where evident in many estate homes found on Islands which fell under French influence. The home has tremendous views from the parlor, kitchen, family room, study and of course the pool side living area. Regan maximized the outdoor living experience with the creation of mini destination points throughout the lanai area such as pairing upholstered chaise lounges with a large market umbrella for a cozy shade retreat in the heat of the day or as a romantic rendezvous in front to the outdoor fireplace in the cool of the night. Another lovely feature is the fire pit chat table or cocktail area located in a calming tropical zen garden three steps down from the pool deck.
CROIX INTERIORS made very bold and deliberant choices for this Model home. Each rooms decor is provocative and well-focused the finishes are current and timeless the transitions are smooth and carry he spirit of the modern form throughout the residence. This authentic sophisticated design celebrates the home owner and is ideal for those who desire to live beautifully in the comfort and luxury of a life un-cluttered.
