​Ashley Gale

With a bachelor's degree in interior design and a background of five different retail positions involving design, visual merchandising, and sales, as well as experience in residential design, I relocated to Illinois from Florida. While in the Midwest, I have also had the opportunity to be a designer at a commercial interior design firm working on retail and education projects. I am currently holding a merchandise and store planning position at a major retailers’ corporate headquarters.  I am a strong team player with leadership skills, and also highly detailed and organized. Skilled in multiple software applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, JDA, MicroStation, Photoshop, Illustrator, and various Microsoft applications.

A little background

   

Design has always had a presence in my life. When I was a child I enjoyed decorating my Barbie Doll’s home, designing homes on the computer game “Sim’s”, sketching furniture and room designs, and rearranging my own bedroom. As a teen, I wanted to be a computer software engineer to make home designing programs. Everything I have done throughout my life has always come back to designing spaces; I just didn’t realize this was my dream career path until high school.
